agdots Director, Sue Middleton was one of five members appointed by the Federal Minister for Health, Regional Communications and Local Government to the 2021 Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee. Conducted during COVID lockdowns, the panel engaged with hundreds of regional stakeholders in 24 online meetings across the country which included industry organisations, telcos, and various agencies across jurisdictions.
The review report captured the voice of the regions, and identified implementable solutions and led to the Government announcing a $1.3bn program to solve key digital issues in regional, remote and rural Australia.
