agdots was engaged to develop a strategy for emergency food relief provision in the East Kimberley, which included a review of the Kununurra Community Garden Kitchen as the primary organisation offering weekly cooked meals. This project formed part of an overarching Financial Capability and Emergency Relief Project being led by Wunan Foundation and in partnership with several emergency relief providers and intersecting organisations and agencies.
agdots designed and led a comprehensive stakeholder engagement process to understand the current and future capacity and needs of emergency relief service providers, which was workshopped to form the foundation of the strategy. An ecosystem scan and literature review was undertaken to explore models from other locations and contexts that may suit an East Kimberley context, and also informed the strategy development.
