Agdots was engaged by DWER to consult with the agri-sector in Gnangara water area regarding future water allocation strategies. The key finding from the consultation was a value versus volume nexus exist for the agribusinesses in this area. As a result the business model for most horticulture businesses is reliant on water volume as a driver if they are less well integrated into the value chain. A range of water efficiency measures were also identified for government and grower investment.
